There has been a noticeable slow-down in the number of offers from the main paid blogging sites. In particular, PayPerPost has been seeing fewer higher paying offers. And by “higher paying”, I’m referring to offers for USD10.00 or more. The handful that are listed get snapped up faster than you can click on it to see what the requirements are.

Change Blog Categories

In order to ensure that the maximum number of opportunities are made available to you, it pays to change the categories for your blog. You are only allowed to do this once every 30 days.

This is something which I don’t think many people are aware of or bother with because all the attention goes to seeking out the highest paying opportunities as fast as possible once you reach the board listings.

Unless your blog is very topic specific or you are extremely stringent about relevance, chances are, there will be opportunities which lie just outside the categories you have chosen.

For example, a blog about living or lifestyle could include a post about hobbies, specifically, camera bags without seeming too irrelevant. However, because you did not choose “photography” as one of your categories, that offer will not be made available to you even though your blog qualifies in terms of PageRank and Alexa ranking.
